Bonds defeated in Orofino (Idaho) district

Sept. 9, 2010
Money would have paid for classroom additions, safety upgrades

From The Lewiston Tribune: The Orofino (Idaho) district has failed to win approval of a $3.85 million bond proposal. The money would have enabled the district to build a bus safety lane at Orofino Elementary School, and additional classrooms at Timberline K-12 School and Orofino High School. The question received the support of 60 percent of those voting, but it needed a two-thirds majority to pass.
