Bonuses don't lure Dallas teachers

District had offered $6,000 a year more to teachers who agreed to transfer to struggling schools

The Dallas school district has tried to lure its best educators into its neediest schools this year by offering them $6,000 in annual bonuses. But few appear to have volunteered. District records show that only about 65 teachers switched to the 16 struggling schools that were approved to give the bonuses.
