Small schools falling out of favor in Boston

From The Boston Globe: The small-schools movement, championed in Boston by former superintendent Thomas W. Payzant, appears to have fallen out of favor with the city’s current school chief, Carol R. Johnson. She sees the small schools as a costly venture in an era of declining city revenue, and believes many have yielded lackluster results.
