Bozeman gets nod for new elementary

The Bozeman (Mont.) district has won approval of a $17.5 million bond proposal. The district will use the funds to build its seventh elementary school. The 500-student school slated to open in August of 2009.

EARLIER: The Bozeman (Mont.) district is seeking voter approval of a $17.5 million bond proposal that would pay for an elementary school. The 500-student school would be the district's seventh elementary and would open in 2009. It would have 22 classrooms, a music room and computer room. Ballots in the mail-in election must be returned by Sept. 11.
