Broken school bus cameras prompt complaints

Citrus County, Fla., district says it hasn't been able to keep cameras functioning on every bus

No one can say for sure what, if anything, the security camera on a Citrus County (Fla.) district school bus will record on any given day. That's because the school system doesn't have enough staff or expertise to make sure that every camera on every bus is working properly. District officials are looking at the problem after they learned that a camera hasn't been working on a bus where some high school students have gotten out of control. The camera failed to record several incidents of sexual misconduct over a period of months.
