Board members vote to continue policy of restricting cell-phone use
From The Miami Herald: The Broward County (Fla.) school board has voted to continue its policy of prohibiting students from making phone calls or sending text messages during the school day. Board member Stephanie Kraft had proposed letting students make calls or send text messages in between classes and during lunch break, but her proposal failed by one vote.
