Former Texas administrator gets probation for hiding camera in women's restroom

Former Bruceville-Eddy (Texas) school district superintendent Dan Doyen was sentenced to five years felony probation today and ordered to register as a sex offender for installing a hidden camera in the women’s restroom at the school administration office.

FROM APRIL 2007: The former superintendent of the Bruceville-Eddy (Texas) school district has pleaded guilty to placing a hidden camera in a women’s restroom at the school administration office. Dan Doyen, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of improper photography or visual recordings. He will be sentenced in June. Doyen admitted that he placed a video camera disguised as an air freshener in a bathroom used by women in his office. He also said he paid for the $299 camera with a district credit card.
