Catholic school in Burlington, Vt., will close

FromThe Burlington Free Press: St. Joseph Roman Catholic School in Burlington, Vt., will close in June after a long period of declining enrollment. The school has about 74 students in preschool to eighth grade this year. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington had warned for at least two years that the school — the smallest parochial school in the state — needed to recruit more students.
