California approves $234 million in facility funding

State allocation board provides money for more than 100 projects

TheCalifornia State Allocation Board has approved $234 million for the construction, modernization, and repair of school facilities around the state. The funding includes $202 million to 79 schools and county offices of education for the construction and modernization of schools; $21 million in joint-use funds for 15 school districts building gyms, libraries, and other facilities; and $11 million in emergency repair funds.
