Proposed bill would create task force to look at better protections against earthquakes

From California Watch: Legislation aimed at overhauling California's school construction law has sailed through the state Senate Education Committee. The proposed bill would establish a task force that would have until Jan. 1, 2014, to consider changes in the law to better protect schoolchildren during earthquakes.
