California district seeks funds for elementary addition

Oak View Union request would provide $3.7 million.

The Oak View (Calif.) Union Elementary School District will ask voters to pass a $3.7 million bond on June 3. If passed with 55 percent of the vote, the bond would be used to build a new multipurpose room at Oak View Elementary School, the district's only school. The existing multipurpose room at Oak View would be transformed into a computer lab, library and office space.
