Ohio university decides not to buy nearby shopping center

From The Columbus Dispatch: Capital University in Bexley, Ohio, will not buy a nearby shopping center, possibly to keep the peace with city residents and officials. The university, which had been in talks since fall 2009 to buy the shopping center, has decided to cancel its purchase agreement. City and community leaders had expressed concern about the loss of tax dollars if the land were converted to educational use.
