Facilities to get overhaul in Carlsbad (Calif.) district

Carlsbad High will look like a completely different campus, the aging Valley Middle School will get a face-lift, and a second high school will open at the south end of town. These are just a few of the changes in store for the Carlsbad (Calif.) Unified School District over the next four years as administrators spend more than $223 million in school construction bond money and state aid.
