From The Newark Star-Ledger: Dwindling enrollment, troubled finances and the lowest SAT scores of the 31 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Newark have led the Catholic archbishop to decide to close basketball powerhouse St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, N.J.. St. Patrick is the oldest parochial high school in New Jersey.
