Catholic high school in San Mateo, Calif., gets OK for upgrades

Serra High School will receive $21 million in improvements

From Catholic San Francisco: The city of San Mateo has approved Phase II of the master plan for campus improvements at Serra High School. Groundbreaking for the $21 million project has been set for June. Planned improvements include five new science lecture laboratories; classrooms that integrate current advanced technology; a new broadcasting studio; a larger art room; a new ceramics room; expanded classroom space; a small-group tutoring/collaborative study classroom; and a new swimming pool.
