Oregon district seeks fund for high school upgrade

Central School District 13J in Independence, Ore., has placed a $47.3 million bond proposal on the November ballot. The money would enable the district to upgrade Central High School. The improvements would increase capacity to 1,200 students, add an auditorium and a football stadium, and enhance technology in classrooms.
