Nov 24, 2009 1:24 PM

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The family of a businessman has given a St. Louis Catholic boys school $28 million for the construction and endowment of a 79,000-square-foot arts center. Chaminade College Prep, an 800-student school on a 100-year-old campus, is receiving the donation from the family of alumnus and mutual fund innovator Skip Viragh, who died in 2003. The center will have a 1,000-seat auditorium, a 150-seat black-box theater, band rooms, art and design studios, ceramic kilns, music practice rooms and a 225-seat balcony.
