From The New York Times: A New York City charter school network says it has been a victim of theft by a member of its finance and operations department. Public Prep says the person used a school credit card to spend tens of thousands of dollars on personal items. Officials of the network, which operates three schools, say that all but $1,000 of the money would be recovered through insurance.
