Tank leak at veterinary lab releases 5 gallons of potassium hydroxide

Seven people have been hospitalized because of a chemical leak at the University of Minnesota's St. Paul campus. The seven suffered eye irritation, were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul after 5 gallons of potassium hydroxide leaked from a large tank at the university's Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The injuries were not critical.
