Chicago high school benefits from "turnaround"

From The Chicago Tribune: Harper High School on Chicago's South Side had 1,100 fights during the 2007 school year. This past year, violent misconduct dropped 80 percent. Harper is one of two city high schools that just completed the first year of an experimental program called turnaround. It's what it sounds like: Chicago Public Schools leadership fires the entire staff and injects money, a new curriculum and extra security to try to reform troubled schools.
