From The Cincinnati Enquirer: The Cincinnati school board is seeking a state loan to carry out energy-saving renovations that will enable it to reopen the former Hyde Park Elementary and give two other schools a green face-lift. The loans would revamp the old Hyde Park school, James N. Gamble Montessori High and Taft STEM Elementary schools and pay for smaller work at 25 other Cincinnati schools. The upgrades would save the district more than $1.5 million a year in energy costs.
