Crews excavating the site of the demolishedTaft Information Technology High School in Cincinnati recently encountered an unexpected obstacle underground that may add at least $240,000 to the cost of the $35 million school project. The new Taft is supposed to be built by summer 2010. Crews preparing to move an existing sewer line from under the old Taft to the side of the property found a telephone encasement from the 1930s that is still operational.
