Clark County enrollment up slightly

Nation's fifth-largest system has more than 311,000 students

The Clark County (Nev.) School District’s enrollment has grown by just under 1 percent this year, according to the head count on the official “count day” used by the Nevada Education Department. The district counted 311,356 students in school Friday. That’s 2,611 more than last year, an increase of 0.8 percent.
