Pedro Martinez has been deputy superintendent in Clark County

From The Las Vegas Sun: Clark County (Nev.) Deputy School Superintendent Pedro Martinez has accepted the position of superintendent of the Washoe County (Nev.) district. Martinez will replace Heath Morrison, who was recently named superintendent of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) district. in North Carolina. Washoe County is the second-largest district in Nevada, serving more than 62,000 students in 102 schools.
