Classroom construction stops at Georgia school when contractor goes out of business

Muscogee County district seeks new builder for expansion of Northside High School in Columbus

From The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer: Construction of 19 classrooms at Northside High School in Columbus, Ga., has been stopped because the general contractor has gone out of business. The Muscogee County School Board was notified in a that D. Dean & Associates was no longer working on the project; a bonding surety company is seeking a new contractor to complete the $3.7 million project, and district officials say the work will be delayed about two months. About 25 to 30 percent of the project has been completed.
