Clay County (Fla.) district facing huge space needs

The Clay County (Fla.) district may have to build nine new schools by the 2015-16 school year. Board members have been wrangling with a multitude of student enrollment and cost figures. One proposal calls for the district to build two additional elementary schools in both Oakleaf Plantation and Lake Asbury, a junior high in Fleming Island and a high school in Oakleaf, all by 2011-12 alone.
