Clayton County (Ga.) district wins approval of $280 million construction plan

From The Clayton News Daily: Clayton County (Ga.) voters have approved a five-year, $280.25 million extension of their school system's Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. The voters' approval means Clayton County Public Schools will have funding to carry out several projects: the renovations of several schools; building nine auxiliary gymnasiums for the county's high schools; purchasing new school buses, and building a replacement facility for Riverdale Elementary School.
