Carnegie Mellon builds new computer science center

Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh is building a new home for its School of Computer Science. The 210,000-square foot, $89 million complex will consist of two buildings and will include 12 new classrooms, about 310 offices, 11 conference rooms, 32 closed project rooms and 8,000 square feet of open project space. The architect is Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects.
