Michael Hinojosa leaves Dallas after 6 years as superintendent

From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Michael Hinojosa, superintendent of the Dallas district, has been hired to lead the Cobb County (Ga.) school system. Hinojosa has been head of the Dallas district for six years.


MAY 2011...from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Michael Hinojosa, superintendent of the Dallas district, is negotiating to become superintendent of the Cobb County (Ga.) school district. Cobb School Board chairwoman Alison Bartlett says Hinojosa will receive an annual salary of $237,000. Other details of his compensation are still being worked out. Cobb County selected Hinojosa last week as its lone candidate for the district's top job.
