Knight Commission report says many feel the existing system is unsustainable

From The Houston Chronicle: Athletic spending on college campuses is out of control, university presidents say, especially when it comes to coaching salaries. But according to a survey by the Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics, the presidents feel powerless. The survey of presidents at schools with major football programs found that  85 percent believe salaries are too high for football and basketball coaches, and only about 25 percent believe the status quo is sustainable.
