Former administrator at Columbia College in Chicago sues over his firing

From The Chicago Sun-Times: The former Chief Financial Officer of Columbia College in Chicago is suing the school, contending that he was fired for supporting a professor he believed was wrongfully terminated. Michael DeSalle says he was a vocal supporter of professor Zafra Lerman in a wrongful termination suit that accused the school of firing her for her Israeli heritage. Columbia fired Lerman after accusing her of improperly transferring $30,000 from one grant to another. DeSalle said the transfer was appropriate, and maintained that position after Lerman was fired, according to DeSalle's lawsuit.
