Most of the reduction would come from attrition and jobs that are already vacant

From The Columbus Dispatch: Columbus (Ohio) Schools Superintendent Gene Harris will propose a budget for next school year that would eliminate about 259 staff positions. Most of the positions would be eliminated through attrition or by wiping out jobs already vacant. The full-time equivalent of about 38 people would lose their jobs.
