Community college bonds approved in Iowa

$18 million will enable Iowa Central Community College to upgrade facilities.

Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge has won approval of an $18 million bond proposal. The bonds will help pay for a Bio-Science and Health Science Center, a Student Learning Resource Center, and other infrastructure and roadway improvements. In December, voters had rejected a $10 million bond request for facility upgrades. Turnout for the June election more than doubled December's vote total.
