News release: Voters will be asked on Sept. 13 to approve a new bond for Kirkwood Community College, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The college is seeking $46.5 million to help pay for three new regional education centers, one of which would be built in Coralville on the University of Iowa's Oakdale Research Campus. The education centers would house programs for K-12 and college students. Bond funds also would help pay for renovations to Linn Hall on Kirkwood's main campus in Cedar Rapids.
