Corpus Christi district ready to build technical high school

Jan 20, 2012 2:04 PM

From The Corpus Christi Caller Times: The Corpus Christi (Texas) district is planning to start construction this spring on a career and technical high school offering programs such as aeronautics and process technologies. The $3.5 million magnet school will be constructed on the site of the former Adult Learning Center, which was demolished last year. The school will be built with some of the district's nearly $21 million in savings from a 2008 bond program. Officials hope to open the school by fall 2013.
