Facility analysis looks at district's aging buildings

From The Eugene Register-Guard: Repairing and refurbishing the aging school facilities in the Eugene (Ore.) district would cost $244 million, a consultant says. Most of Eugene’s schools were built before 1970. Willagillespie Ele­mentary School is the oldest, constructed in 1925. But Roosevelt Middle School got the lowest marks from MGT of America, a consulting firm that analyzed Eugene’s school buildings to help the district develop a 10-year plan.
