County singer donates $350,000 to hometown schools

Carrie Underwood's foundation provides gift to Checotah (Okla.) district

From The Daily Oklahoman: Country music singer Carrie Underwood has donated $350,000 to the school district in her Oklahoma hometown. All four schools in the Checotah district will benefit from the donation. The schools will use the funds to buy computers, band instruments and other equipment.
