New campus center for California community college

A two-story, $20.2 million student center that opened last fall at Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, Calif., has become the prime gathering spot for the school's 8,000 students. The first floor has a student lounge with tables for laptops, plus an 8-foot-high projection screen to watch movies, a game room with Foosball, pool and Ping-Pong tables, a Barnes & Noble bookstore, and a convenience store that sells sushi.
