Danville (Ill.) district plans elementary school renovation

Work at East Park expected to cost between $10.75 million and $11.75 million

From The Danville Commercial-News: Danville (Ill.) School District 118 is moving ahead with plans for renovating East Park Elementary School. The work at East Park, which was a junior high school from 1961 until the 1980s, is projected to cost between $10.75 million and $11.75 million. The base project includes installing a new roof, replacing sidewalks, grading the land around the building, replacing drainage pipes, repairing the restrooms and creating new classrooms.
