Catholic high school opens in Daytona Beach

The newFather Lopez Catholic High School is opening next week in Daytona Beach, Fla. The 40-acre campus is outfitted with the latest technology; old-school chalk and erasers have been replaced by tablet computers, laptops and built-in overhead projectors that flash on a screen at the front of the class. The school will have 265 students enrolled when it opens on Aug. 15, and has capacity to accommodate 500 students. To read The Daytona Beach News-Journal article, click here.
