Plan would rebuild music and theater facilities
From The Chicago Tribune: A plan to rebuild the music and theater facilities at DePaul University in Chicago is expected to go before the City Council this month. The 10-year master plan for the campus in the Lincoln Park neighborhood has cleared the city's Zoning Committee. The proposal calls for a new academic center, an art museum and a mixed-use development and is projected to cost between $200 million and $250 million. Facilities to house the music and theater programs, initially priced at $85 million and $65 million, respectively, are the cornerstones of the plan.
