Despite operating budget woes, California district will move ahead with construction of administration building

Folsom Cordova district says $27 million project will save the district money in the long run
FromThe Sacramento Bee: Construction of a $27 million Folsom Cordova (Calif.) Unified School District administration building is expected to begin by June, even as the district considers increasing athletic fees, furloughing employees and eliminating some sports programs to balance its budget. District officials said the 72,000-square-foot administration building ultimately will save general fund money.
