Gymnasium opens at Detroit elementary school

From The Detroit News: A 10-foot rock-climbing wall, six basketball hoops and bleacher seating for 200 are some of the features of a new 10,100-square-foot gymnasium at Bethune-Fitzgerald Academy, a preK-8 campus on the west side of Detroit. The athletic wing, part of $8.4 million in renovations, was funded through a construction program voters approved in November 2009.
