Psychological records of former students found unprotected in Detroit building

From The Detroit News: Spools of microfilm containing the psychological case files of former Detroit schoolchildren can be found unprotected and lying around in an old building formerly owned by the school system. The building served as a storage facility for books, crayons and case records from the district's psychological clinic. The building has been looted by scrappers and vandals since it caught fire more than two decades ago. The discovery of the records unmasks another colossal failure in a string of colossal failures within the Detroit Public School system, said Jack Kresnak, president of Michigan's Children, a nonpartisan advocacy group.
