Michigan attorney general seeks to block Detroit school board's appointment of treasurer

Oct 1, 2009 12:47 PM

From The Detroit News: Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox wants a judge to stop the Detroit school board from appointing a treasurer. Cox contends that the appointment "was in blatant disregard" of Michigan law, which gives authority to Robert Bobb as the district's emergency financial manager.
