A new Catholic high school for girls could break ground in the coming weeks inWixom, Mich. St. Catherine of Siena Academy could open next fall with ninth- and 10th-graders and will eventually educate about 700 girls a year through grade 12. The school was to be built next door to Detroit Catholic Central in Novi, but the idea was scrapped because of rezoning issues.
