Monroe (N.J.) district moves footprint of new high school.

The Monroe (N.J.) district is moving the footprint of its planned high school so the project can proceed without delays. Because of archaeologists' findings on part of the original site, New Jersey officials have recommended an archaeological survey to determine the historical significance of the site. The district's decision to move the site means it will not have to wait for the state to release 3.6 acres of the original 35-acre site. The architect is Design Ideas Group, which will submit a redesigned plan for the school next month.
