Doors open at new California high school

Vista del Lago High School is in the fast-growing Folsom Cordova district.

The Folsom Cordova (Calif.) Unified District, trying to keep pace with a burgeoning student population, has opened Vista del Lago High School, the newest high school in Sacramento County. The district, encompassing the fast-growing cities of Folsom and Rancho Cordova, also has opened a new elementary school.
