Board picks Miami school administrator as its new superintendent

From The Florida Times-Union: The Duval County (Fla.) School Board has selected Nikolai Vitti as its next district superintendent. He now serves as chief academic officer in the Miami-Dade County district. Before that, Vitti spent two years supervising Miami-Dade’s lowest-performing schools. at 35, will become the youngest superintendent among Florida’s largest six counties.
