Texas city limits noise at school district stadium

From The Austin American-Statesman: After concerns about excess noise were resolved, the West Lake Hills, Texas, City Council has approved a variance permitting the installation of a new video board at Westlake High School's Chaparral Stadium. Some council members had complained that they could hear play-by-play announcements during games from as far as a mile and a half away. They argued that for smaller games, such as middle school football games and other events with lower attendance, the public address system's volume should be lowered to match crowd size. Eanes District events, such as football games and band competitions, will not be subject to the noise agreement,
